Notes:
Previously unreleased mono mix of Deep Purple Mark 1's second LP on black vinyl (unlike this one on white - [r=6909018) Both mono and stereo tapes of 'The Book Of Taliesyn' were mixed, but since the band had moved from Parlophone to Harvest in the UK and they didn't release monos at that time the mono tapes weren't used. Gatefold laminated sleeve. Back cover notes do not say anything about a remix or remake other than it was digitally remastered and that the rights to the tapes are owned by Parlophone Records Ltd. The original album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios, London in August and October 1968 and it was remastered at Abbey Road Studios, London in 2000. Note on the back of the sleeve: File under POPULAR: Pop Groups
