Comments:
Very clean vinyl and labels. Sleeve has moderate ring and shelf wear, no splits or writing. Record is in excellent condition, only one or two visible light hairlines. Supplied with new sleeve protector.

"The duo was invited by Ellington in 1969 to play the Suite at a memorial concert in New York's Lincoln Center to establish a scholarship in Strayhorn's name at Julliard. 
All the other selections recorded here were suggested by Strayhorn as good vehicles for the piano-horn combination and were recorded under intimate conditions in Hollywood, 1970-'71."
